Volunteer with Refuge Victoria to make a lasting difference in the lives of those escaping family violence. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, but what they have in common is the desire to make a difference to families escaping violence.
Whatever someone’s reasons for becoming a volunteer with us, what they all find is a community of like-minded individuals and a wonderful sense of purpose and contribution. At Refuge Victoria, it’s not just about lending a hand, but becoming a part of a team that values collaboration, respect, and real impact.
Our volunteers often tell us how fulfilling it is to be a part of an organisation that makes a difference in the lives of those escaping family violence, and knowing their time and efforts are directly contributing to improving the lives of those in need. Each volunteer brings a unique skill set and experience to the team, which are essential to the wide range of support we provide — whether its being a part of our gardening club, helping kids with their homework, or sorting and organising donated goods, every contribution makes a difference.
